Email & Content Suggestions | Ask Copilot for a first draft, some options, or a different angle, whether it's an email, a post, or a piece of copy, so you're never starting from a blank page. |
Evo Docs | Copilot's Evo Docs skill searches your Collaborate documents for you, so you get a direct answer instead of scrolling through pages to find it. |
How it works in practice: Step by Step
Example: Getting a ready-to-send email draft
A Communications Officer needs to send a short update to volunteers about an upcoming event.
They ask Copilot to draft the email, describing what needs to be said.
Copilot suggests a draft in seconds.
The Communications Officer edits the wording to match their own voice, rather than starting from a blank page.
The email goes out in a fraction of the time it would have taken to write from scratch.
The Evo Docs skill
Evo Docs is a Copilot skill that searches your Collaborate documents for you. Upload a document to Collaborate and select the option to make it searchable in Copilot.
From then on, you can ask Copilot a question and get a direct answer drawn from that document, rather than scrolling through it yourself.
Step by step: asking Copilot about a Collaborate document
Upload your document to Collaborate, or open one you've already stored there.
Select the option to make it searchable in Copilot.
Open Copilot and ask about the information you need, rather than the document's name. For example, upload the Code of Fundraising Practice, then ask "What are the fundraising standards related to advertising?"
Copilot finds the most relevant information, even in long documents.
Ask a follow-up question if you need more detail, without starting your search again.
📌 Note: Best for: text-heavy documents such as HR policies, procedures, security guides, and reports with lots of written content. It is less accurate with tables where columns relate to each other, or documents with lots of lists or line items. Evo Docs works best with PDFs and Word documents, and also supports PowerPoint and Excel. Maximum file size is 50MB per document.
